My mission is to inspire individuals and teams to overcome challenges, pursue their dreams, and break through perceived limitations. My keynote presentations draw on my personal experiences of resilience, making mistakes, bouncing back, leadership, teamwork, and determination. I encourage audiences to become their best selves and deliver extraordinary results. I first gained international recognition as the expedition leader of Team Everest ’03, where I ascended to the summit of Mount Everest, becoming the first person with one arm to reach the top of the world. Just weeks prior, I led the largest and most diverse team, including people with cross-disabilities, to the Mt. Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 17,500 ft. Known for my genuine and relatable speaking style, I've delivered impactful keynotes in over 45 countries since my first presentation for IBM two decades ago. My talks continue to inspire audiences worldwide, fostering new perspectives and lasting motivation. Beyond my historic climb of Everest and many other peaks, I've achieved incredible feats of endurance. I summited Cho Oyu, the world’s sixth-highest mountain, completed the grueling Marathon des Sables across the Sahara Desert—regarded as the toughest footrace on Earth—and successfully finished the Ironman 70.3 in Hawaii. Most recently, I pushed my limits even further in an intense endurance race across the ICA desert of Peru. I am the author of “Make Others Greater: From Everest to the Boardroom,” a book that intertwines my remarkable journey with insights from global leaders and businesses, delivering a powerful message of empowerment. I was also featured in the award-winning documentary “Team Everest: A Himalayan Journey,” which chronicles my groundbreaking expedition.
