The Ashley Jo Farmer Band Variety Band from Salisbury, NC

Ashley Jo Farmer, a singer/songwriter rooted in the heart of North Carolina, has a voice as smooth as melted butter, with rich undertones that are soothing and comfortable. She has always been a fan of music, and pulls inspiration from many well-known singer/songwriters including the likes of Karen Carpenter, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Beth Wood, and the Indigo Girls. Farmer is currently best known for her work as a touring background vocalist for the Billy Jonas Band. Ashley Jo has put together a stellar group of musicians to back her up as she performs her newest original music, mostly rock-based, some witty and fun, others more serious and heartfelt. The band is made up of Ashley Jo who sings lead, Tommy Farmer on electric bass and acoustic guitar, Alan Grossman on acoustic guitar, Wes Copeland on Mandolin, and Louis Bodak on Percussion. Although the band has not been playing together for long, it's made up of all adult professional musicians who love being onstage and have a great time together.
