I enjoyed Essex tremendously. They have a lot of energy and the singing was absoutly by the female leads. They were super easy to work with and very friendly.

Essex was recommended to me by a family friend and I could not be more happy that I booked them for my wedding. Grace was awesome during all of the pre-event planning and made me feel very comfortable with everything. There really aren't enough good words to describe how their performance was during the reception. All of my guests raved about them, and the floor was packed until the very end of the night. The show was high energy and very entertaining. I loved every single sing they played, and if I ever need a live band again Essex will be my first choice. Thanks for an awesome night!!!!

Lets see, They showed up on time and was patient about waiting for our speaker to finish speaking, and during the set up they worked with us to get the sound system up and going. They were all great performers with excellent talent The ladies had a beautiful voices, They started off with the right music for the crowd and worked towards really getting the crowd motivated and dancing. I had requested a song that was not on their list during the event planning part of our celebration and they took the the time to practice it before they came to Maynords round up and played it at the end as I requested and the did a beautiful job. We will have them back next year. James

We booked Essex for our Wedding in Tahoe in September and they were totally awesome! From the time we booked them, they were very easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions or requests that we had. We received several compliments on the band during and after the wedding and several of our guests asked for their contact information. I highly recommend booking Essex for your events. They were fun, sounded GREAT, were reliable and really got our party going!

Essex put on a Stellar show!
This band kept our party dancing all night, their energy level and enthusiasm was contagious to our family and friends. From the opening song to the last late night groove, every member of Essex put in their very best performance.
We couldn't have asked for a more entertaining, fun and easy to work with group.

I hired Essex to perform at a New Year's Eve Gala. From the first contact I had with their business manager, to the time we parted ways following the event, I found them to be dependable, professional and accommodating. There was a broad age range (late 20's to 60's) that attended the event and the band created a mix of music that appealed to all of them! The dance floor was packed during every song and almost everyone in the room participated in the longest conga line that I've ever seen! I will definately be asking them to entertain not only this event next year, but hopefully many others as well. I would highly recommend them to my friends, colleagues and you! Essex, thanks for your contribution to making this event a huge success!

We hired Essex for my husband's Christmas party on Dec. 14, 2006. Mike Kirk and members of Essex were wonderful to work with. They were concerned with the crowd having fun and kept everyone dancing until the end of the night. From the initial contact to the end of the event they were professional, responsive and courteous. Great band, great people and great fun.

From the first time I talked to Essex about playing at the wedding, they were very professional and easy to work with. They assured me of a great night of music and they sure provided it. They played a wide variety of hits with no duds. Forget about DJs, I would recommend Essex for any event.

ESSEXX was a very professional and fun band. Band Leader Michael Kirk was very accomadating for all our needs and requests. It was a great time had by all. They really know how to get the party started and keep up the momentum throughout the night.
I highly recommend them for any function that needs a dance band.

We were very pleased with the performance the band and singers put on for our special day. The country club said it was the best band they every had at any event and loved our choice of music. The guests danced up to the last dance and left with happy but sore feet but had no regrets. If we ever need a band again we wont hesitate in contacting Essex again. Thanks a million.

Essex was excellent and was as good as bigger name cover bands like the Cheeseballs and Tainted love. People at our party raved about them. A score of 10 doesn't justify how good they really were. I would hire them in a heart beat anytime. I also liked being able to arrange the music list in the order I wanted..

Essex did a fantastic job at our wedding! They played a great mix of both classics and contemporary music, and the dance floor stayed strong throughout their set. I would definitely recommend them to others. They were easy to deal with, arrived and were set up in plenty of time, and helped MC some of the events during the night.

I was very thrilled with the band's performance. Both the singers and musicians are very talented. The play list was just want I wanted - a lot of variety with current songs thrown in. I didn't want all the music to be 60's stuff. The band also interacted with the audience in a fun, energetic but not intrusive way. Very happy with Essex!
