T-Klez Klezmer Band from New York City, NY

We are: * David Licht on percussion. David is a founding member of the world-famous Klezmatics. A member of the legendary groups Shockabilly and Bongwater, he has performed with Ned Rothenberg, John Zorn and Tom Cora and has worked with many other famed klezmorim like Giora Feidman and David Krakauer. * Psachya Septimus on accordion/keys/melodica - and voice. Psachya has been an integral part of the New York City Hasidic music scene for over 30 years, performing with acts as diverse as Avrohom Fried, Eitan Katz, the Diaspora Yeshiva Band, Yehuda Green, and Soulfarm. He has appeared on recordings including the Kleztraphobix, Soulfarm and Yaakov Shwekey. His own solo album, "Shattered Glass,” was released in 2012. * Dobe/Dena Ressler on clarinet. She has taught at KlezKamp, the New England Conservatory of Music’s summer Klezmer Institute, and Yiddish New York. She produced the CD nakhes fun klezmer with di bostoner klezmer and has played with klezmer music stars such as Michael Alpert, Deborah Strauss, Frank London - and David Licht! She occasionally reviews Yiddish music in English and Yiddish.
