Accordionist Jimmy Horzen has been performing for national and international audiences for more than 4 decades. Jimmy Horzen was born and raised in Fontana, California. Horzen, with Slovenian roots, began his musical journey with accordion lessons at the age of six. Two years later, the 8-year old Horzen made his television debut - with America's Polka King, Frank Yankovic. Through the years Jimmy has entertained at every conceivable venue: from retirement centers to small clubs to weddings to national conventions...from Oktoberfests to polka festivals to ballroom dancing to the House of Blues. Jimmy worked as a full-time accordionist for 19 years at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. He also performed as a full-time accordionist at Sea World Orlando (3+ years). He is currently playing weekly at Hollerbach's German Restaurant in Sanford, Florida (20+ years). Jimmy's broad repertoire includes: American Sing-Alongs, St. Patrick's Day/Irish music, Polkas, German, Italian, French, Slovenian, Croatian, Russian, Spanish, Latin, East Listening, Mediterranean, Cajun, and much, much more. He has performed on more than 15 CD's and also performs as a one-man band or with larger ensembles (duo, trio, band), as needed.
