My name is Jojo Alves . I was born in Portugal , raised in South Africa and live in Los Angeles . I play a unique instrument called the '6ix on 7en' , which I invented ( guitar with 2 necks) one used for bass and chords , the other for soloing . My repertoire varies from pop, latin , rock, funk and blues ... mostly from the 70's and 80's through to the present ( vocals and instrumentals ) . I have been playing professionally for over 30 years and have performed at many parties , clubs and restaurants, including the Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel .
