Classical soprano Frances Peterson has performed with the San Francisco Opera, at Davies Symphony Hall in the Sing It Yourself Messiah for two years, and at the Vatican by special request. She holds degrees from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in Vocal Production and from San Francisco State in Theater, and studied in Rome, Italy in the International Opera Academy of Rome/New Rome Opera Festival. A consummate professional, Ms. Peterson has performed in Europe, Ireland, Great Britain, across the United States and Mexico. Her wide variety of styles include opera, oratorio, musical theater, popular ballads and standards of all decades, Italian, Irish and French songs, jazz, big band and more. Ms. Peterson enjoys concertizing, private events including weddings, private parties, memorials, Catholic Masses and graduations, and is often requested for important events with the San Francisco Archdiocese. Her discography includes featured solos on "Tota Pulchra" and "Rejoice", and back-up vocals for Sugo Records. Ms. Peterson is mobile and will venture forth from Sacramento to the Monterey Peninsula and works with accompaniment from piano, organ, harp, string trio or accordion.
