With over 20 years of experience, Downtown Skippy Brown specializes in the classics...old school hip-hop, R&B, reggae, house music and Afro Beats. I've spun at house parties, restaurants and clubs, and even for a few hip-hop legends. I started spinning with vinyl and have moved to the new stuff. I learned from some of the best including local NYC DJ legends. For each party, I bring that experience with me to deliver a classic event. Booked DJ Skippy Brown for my mother’s birthday party and we are very satisfied with his performance. He got some very unusual requests for music from a group of my mother’s friends who wanted to line dance and he accommodated as best he could. DJ also handled all special requests great and kept the party going when he saw the dance floor empty.
