- What makes you different than other Photographers? I'm not just a photographer. Serving the client is what I was hired to do, so if that means I'm putting together wedding favors, moving chairs, fetching family members, guarding the Bridal Suite, or making friends with the dog so I can get him or her comfortable in front of the camera, that's what I'm doing. At the end of the day I have two roles, one is to get the shot list, and the other is to help make your day a success. - How I Got Started Photographing Weddings I started out doing portraiture, and I stayed in portraiture for over two years before I was willing to take on a wedding. The moments that happen at a wedding cannot be recreated or recaptured later on, they are a once in a lifetime occurrence, and I was unwilling to take that responsibility until I knew I could deliver without compromise. Now here I am, two years into wedding photography and loving every minute I am serving my clients. - Something I Love About Photography Candids! I'm heavily invested in lifestyle photography which has a distinct emphasis on the real life emotions and reactions of the people I'm photographing. The people who are going to look at the images I deliver are people who know and love you, they know when you're fake smiling and when you're not, and it's my job to deliver images that accurately depict the person that you love.
