I'm Jess, a photographer based out of Westchester County, New York. When I'm not behind my camera you can find me sailing on my boat, teaching sailing or probably some where talking about sailing. (Yes, it's an obsession.) When I can't sail I'm definitely looking for new places to eat, hike or run. No matter where I am, I'm probably with my Welsh Terrier, Mycroft. (::shameless plug:: follow Mycroft on IG @hessocrofty) Why I'm a Photographer I've always loved taking pictures. Yes, I'm that annoying girl that won't let anyone eat until I have documented it. Despite my love for taking pictures, I absolutely HATED being in front of the camera. “I wanted to give others that CONFIDENCE + HAPPINESS that I had experienced.” My husband Martin + I got married in September 2018. The first thing we did was find our photographer. We fell in love with Katherine. She had great style and she was consistent. What I wasn't planning on was how she made me feel in front of the camera. After two shots, I was at ease, felt beautiful + was able to just be myself. When I got my pictures from her, I was even more blown away. I looked so confident + happy. It was amazing! After viewing my wedding pictures over + over I knew I wanted to give others that confidence + happiness I had experienced. After months of planning, I quit my 9 to 5 + set out to do just that. No matter what size you are, how old you are, how tall or short you are. You deserve to have pictures that represent YOU. So let's show the world who you are!
