Freelance Photographer Photographer from Chicago, IL

I am a freelance photographer, specializing in portraiture, event photography, weddings, corporate headshots, actor headshots, product photography, and more. I believe that photography is a collaboration between myself and the person I photograph, and my style of shooting has been described as relaxing, naturalistic, and playful. I like to describe my style as funky yet classy, airing on the side of photojournalistic "in-the-moment" kind of shooting. But I'm extremely capable of replicating various styles and genres. I understand that choosing a photographer and also being the subject of photographing is often a daunting task. As someone with an extensive background in theatre arts and art and design, I understand the vulnerability you might feel from being photographed. It is my number one priority to make you feel comfortable and at ease. I graduated from Columbia College with a BA in Art and Design and Theatre Performance, and am currently back in school studying Mobile Development and Graphic Design. I am a regular instructor at Richard Stromberg's School of Photography in Ravenswood. I am also proficient in photo editing software: Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I have an arsenal of my own photographic equipment ranging from lighting, a wide range of lenses, and DSLR camera bodies.
