Hello! I'm Joe, a sharp-eyed photographer with a Midwest heritage who calls Denver, Colorado home. I love to observe, and capture the moment. An image shapes how you remember a moment, and in the age of the Internet, shapes someone's first impression of you. I'm a storyteller, and I want to help capture and tell your story. I believe a photographer is an artisan; I am here to make art that tells a story, and I want to tell your story. Whether you're capturing that special moment, creating a first impression, or building a product from scratch, I am here to help you tell the best possible version. Your time with me is about creating a narrative, and part of that narrative is the experience that you have in the creation of the photo. Together we'll figure out what story needs to be told, and the best way to capture it, while having a good time. I love shooting events, portraits, engagement sessions, and more. Depending on the session, I'll use either solely natural light, or a mix of natural light and flash. I love to shoot on location as it adds so much more character to the work. When working with clients, I love to meet face to face if possible, prior to the session to get to know each other, and so that we can determine the expectations from all parties for the session. This gives me an opportunity to get to know what's unique about you, and what needs you have. I always arrive early for sessions, so that no one is ever rushed, and work hard to make sure that we can come up with some fantastic shots. After the session, I go through and retouch all the photos. I work to have a quick turn around time, with the highest possible quality of work. I look forward to working with you!
