My name is Marjorie, but you can call me MJ, I have had twenty years of experience as a model, and I have a Photography Degree. All these formative years, I have found that the perfect moments can never be scripted. One just need to be there, in the here and now, and keep looking for those epiphanies everywhere. Wedding photography is like music, if you may. It is dynamic, spontaneous, and lovely. Also, just like music, the photograph should feel the soulfulness of the moment to find it expressed by the camera. I, for one, am a people's person. Unlike oldies in the business, I don't get busy mechanically posing my subject one image after another in a wedding photoshoot. Instead, I would become the bride's best friend, and help her feel comfortable and guide her to best angles and body language. Also, may I say, I have a pretty good idea of fashion, especially related to weddings. I have a gift for capturing the essence of a wedding in all its hues. Be it the solemnity of the bride walking down the aisle or the nervous exchange of the rings, my images gently hold the preciousness of the moment. I believe the job of photography is not just technical. It is not only about knowing how to handle a camera. Of course, one needs to know how to handle the camera. More important, though, is to use the camera to be a true testimony of love. It is an honor to be your wedding photographer. I am easy to talk with, and I am a good listener.
