My favorite part of being a photographer is relating to people, making posing for photographs a fun, relaxing and enjoyable experience. My goal is to work with you as a client to create artwork that captures all of the details because photographs are the best way to preserve your special day once it is over. I love photography and have been studying the art form for over twenty years. Besides being a professional photographer, I am also an former art teacher and mother. I graduated with a BA in Fine Art - Photography from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and hold a MA Ed from the Ohio State University. I am currently serving on the board of directors for the DC chapter of PPA (Professional Photographers of America) and stays current with all of the technology advances in digital photography with multiple Washington DC Photographers Association memberships with APA (American Photographic Artists) and CAP (Capital Area Photographers).
