I have been a professional photographer for over 30 years. I shoot conventions, business openings, product launches, corporate headshots, portraits, weddings, engagements and any other type of event that may need a capable photographer. I have been shooting everything from product photography, architectural photography, headshots, conventions, and speakers at all types of events for three decades. Because I do have so much experience I know what people are looking for during different types of events. My goal is to provide the client with what they want instead of some vision that I have of what I want to give the client. I know that at a convention the organizer wants to know that the schedule given to the photographer will be followed exactly and that the photographer will be on time. Since I have photographed at almost every possible venue in Nashville, I am aware of the best vantage points, how to get in and out of the venue and the lighting at the venue. I know that for a product launch or the opening of a business the client wants to showcase the business, showcase the people who came to the opening, show people having fun at the opening and of course show any ribbon cutting at the ceremony. I know that for portraits or headshots the client wants to look great. I do all of my own editing and I make sure that while I do touch ups that the person doesn't look too touched up and therefore just looks naturally great. I know that often it takes a while to loosen up during a photo session and I will talk to the person and have them take a moment if they look too stiff or uncomfortable in the photos. While I am not primarily a wedding photographer I have shot many weddings and engagement photos. I do not discriminate against anyone getting married. I am accepting of everyone and as such am a safe person with which to entrust your wedding photography. If you need photography for an office party, or a party at home I know how to not be intrusive, but yet still get the most fun parts of the evening, while also taking elegant portraits at the same party.
