Alan Curtis Tripp has entertained as a concert pianist, a jazz pianist, and a background music pianist for over 20 years throughout the world. He has performed over 3000 performances in 45 states and 20 countries. Alan can play any style for any kind of event. From Classical to Gospel to Jazz to Country to Popular to Sacred Music. He received his Bachelors Degree in Piano Performance in 2007 and studied Classical, Jazz, and Sacred music in college as well as with some known teachers who took from Ernesto Lecuona. One of Alan's teachers also took from a student who was a student of Johannes Brahms. Alan is fluent in improvisation and can play most popular tunes/standards. Alan Curtis Tripp is a local pianist to the Tampa Bay area, however is also an international pianist even moreso having performed all over Europe, having spent much time, specifically, in Spain. Some of his local Tampa Bay performances have included places such as Bon Appetite in Dunedin where he was pianist of the restaurant for two successful years before moving to Chicago. He spent over 10 years in Chicago playing piano all over the city in Jazz and Classical circles. He performed everywhere from The Green Mill to The Trump Towers. Other Tampa Bay venues that have hosted Alan for performances include the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa, the Belleair Country Club, the Mahaffey Theater in St Petersburg, the Museum of Fine Arts of St Petersburg, the Palladium of St Petersburg, and the Capitol Theatre in Clearwater. He has also made several television appearances and performances with CTN in Largo, as well as on Good Day Tampa Bay morning show for Channel 13 Fox News. In gospel music he has collaborated with some Gaither singers, and has toured the world with them as well. He has performed everywhere from the Crystal Cathedral in California to well known Cathedrals in France. His innovative musical contributions are as diverse as it gets and his music has no limits.
