Acclaimed Pianist and top chart Smooth Jazz Recording Artist/TONY AWARD nominated composer Dan Alan Levine available to play piano at your event!  Playing since the age of 2, all styles, requests, your piano or self-contained.  A happy NEW MEMBER of The Bash, but have been playing professionally for decades.  

 IMPORTANT: I am new to The Bash, but have been playing all my life...The reason you may not see as many reviews is ONLY because I joined the website recently. I have "multiple" residences in Burlington Vermont AND in the suburbs of Boston, MA. I am also just 90 minutes from Montreal. I do have a place to stay as well in Saratoga Springs, NY.

My piano skills are adaptable to all different kinds of event situations. My perfect pitch and ability to improvise anything that I have heard, allows for requests across the board. I can play show tunes, the American Songbook, pop hits, TV themes, pretty much anything. Additionally, I can perform alone on stage in front of an audience, or with vocalists and additional musicians.  I'm particularly sensitive to people trying to engage in conversation with music in the background as I've been there myself! I will NEVER drown out your conversation...extremely adept at blending into the background and creating beautiful atmospheric music while participants are dining and conversing. 

My ultimate goal is to achieve and surpass the needs of those in attendance. People have commented that I literally turn the piano into an orchestra, with a rich harmonic sense of fullness. Happy to play "your" piano, or will be gladly bring one of my own premier keyboards along with a PA system, particularly useful for outdoor events. 

People say that my warm personality and first-rate musical skills will enhance any event.

Dan was a great addition to our party. He knew just what to play, and played so well! I really enjoyed meeting him on the phone well when I booked him, as his personality and style gave me great confidence that he would add to the party. And he did not disappoint!

We had Dan play dinner and evening dancing music at our anniversary party, and he was absolutely fantastic! His skill, technique, and repertoire is incredible and our guests were so excited to be able to give requests. We were also really impressed at how Dan was able to read a room and adjust his playing to match. He was also very professional and on time. We most highly recommend Dan and cannot wait to work with him again! 

Dan played at my wedding ceremony and dinner and was incredible!  He has great talent and was able to blend song requests and his selections perfectly and pair them with the mood in the room.  I couldn't recommend more highly!

Dan was such a great addition to our Christmas party. He played anything on request - anything!! And he was such a happy and fun person to have around. We will be hiring him again!!!

Dan Alan Levine is a consummate pianist! He is extremely talented. He has outstanding musicianship and technique. We communicated several times prior to our 50th anniversary party. He was very easy to talk to. He totally met our music and dance needs for late 69s and early 70s pop, rock and folk music. He accompanied me and 2 choral singer friends on 3 songs popular around 1972, year we got married. He was a joy to work with. Also, he was very organized and punctual for rehearsal/gig. It's a pleasure to recommend him to any future client.
