I started playing piano and singing at 3. Being raised in a musical family, I played for many church choirs and specialty functions. Studied music at American U , Howard U. and several private teachers. Have played at most hotels in the DC Metro area like, St Regis, Four Seasons, Willard, Mayflower and Mandarin Oriental, various country clubs : Columbia, Calvert, Army - Navy, and Congressional. Performed on the Odyssey Cruise ship, the Spirit of Washington Cruise ship, The National Press Club, Kennedy Center, Blues Alley, and Constitution Hall. I have accompanied artists such as Chuck Berry, Carla Thomas, Carl Anderson, and Lloyd Price in Las Vegas. Mark Greene and The Moments, Sonny Till and the Orioles, Blue Magic, Harold Melvin's Blue Notes. Played on shows with Stanely Clarke, Freddie Hubbard, George, Duke, and Max Roach. Performed in Aruba, Curacao, The Netherland Antilles, Mexico City, Canada, and three months at the Hilton in Shanghai.
