Jason Lux is a friendly and versatile pianist who performs a variety of popular and jazz songs with an energetic improvisational style. Based in Seattle, Jason is available for in-person bookings as well as for hosting virtual live-streamed concerts. With over a decade of experience performing regularly at Canlis, Jason has honed his performance skills and ability to interact with and delight guests from all backgrounds. Because he provides a premium service, he is in-demand for corporate bookings and has for example entertained at events hosted by Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, Adobe, Chanel, Boeing, Nordstrom, Nintendo, Boston Consulting Group, Starbucks, Exxon Mobile, and many others. Recognizing that different audiences appreciate different types of music and can make a variety of song requests, Jason's repertoire spans a wide range of genres. As examples, a performance may include jazz (Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald), rock (Pink Floyd, Guns N' Roses), pop (Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande), video game music (Halo, Portal), musicals (Phantom of the Opera, Dear Evan Hansen), international pop music (Jay Chou, BTS), or soundtracks (Star Wars, Spirited Away). This broad variety keeps audiences of all backgrounds engaged in the performance, allowing a fun experience for all. Jason provides premium in-person services. He can provide all equipment required for a high-quality performance, including discreet slim tower speakers for realistic and pleasing sound, a state-of-the-art digital piano with advanced sampling, a mixing board and microphones (in case of an on-site acoustic piano or vocalist), and a hardwood piano performance case for a professional aesthetic. Jason can also provide exceptional virtual live-streaming services from his studio. During his private virtual performances, Jason interacts with guests’ comments and requests in real time, responding verbally via microphone to the chat messages in the video stream. Live-streamed performances can range from 30 minutes to 3 hours, and can include multiple cinema camera angles with motorized motion sliders, professional lighting, and high-quality audio using the best modeled piano sounds available. The live video feed can also feature company logo or brand overlays for a custom aesthetic. A popular event that Jason hosts for large groups is a “Name That Tune” contest where the audience competes to guess as many songs as possible during the performance, with winners announced at the end.
