After graduating from the University of Virginia with a double major in music and biology, Jonathan took a leap and moved to Nashville, Tennessee, alone, with little more than his instruments and ambition. It didn’t take long for him to stand out. He quickly built a reputation as a go-to pianist, performing night after night across the city and in front of thousands at some of Tennessee’s most iconic venues. His time in Nashville marked a major chapter in his career. As the lead pianist for the rock and roll band Hippies & Cowboys, Jonathan performed at major events including the Pilgrimage Music Festival, sharing lineups with artists such as The Black Crowes, Zach Bryan, Noah Kahan, Dave Matthews Band, and The Lumineers. The band also became the house act on the main stage at Kid Rock’s bar, where Jonathan performed alongside and collaborated with legendary musicians including Kid Rock, Steve Cropper, and members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bon Jovi, Journey, and Lit. His presence in Nashville’s competitive music scene, and the level of success he achieved there, speaks to both his talent and professionalism. Today, Jonathan brings that same high-level musicianship and experience to every private event he plays.
