My name is Kristina. I am a pianist who is passionate about spreading the love and joy that music brings. I have been playing piano since I was a kid. After spending seven years in music school, I went from just taking lessons to falling in love with the instrument for life. My musical interests are quite broad. I perform a wide spectrum of musical styles, including classical, pop, boogie-woogie, Argentine tango, hit ballads, blues, and soft contemporary, with a strong focus on beloved classics and all-time favorites. Beyond performing, I love to create music. As both a performer and composer, I have always believed that music should tell a story. I put a bit of my own story and my own feelings into every piece I write. My original music ranges from soft, melodic tunes to more energetic rhythms. Whether I am performing my own works or interpreting beloved classics, I put the same heart into every note, simply hoping to create a connection with anyone who is listening. I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science and worked in the field for many years. It might seem different from music, but this background in thinking logically actually helps me a lot with my musical creativity. I perform at senior living communities, corporate events, weddings and parties. You can view the song list on my profile, which includes a frequently performed sample arrangement chosen from my repertoire. I love reading the energy of a room. I can keep things elegant and subtle while guests are mingling, or step it up with a more engaging performance when the time is right. If there isn't a piano available on-site, I can provide my own digital piano, stand, and extension cord to ensure the piano is positioned exactly where you’d like it. The piano has high quality, beautiful sound. For large venues, I also provide a dedicated sound system to ensure the music is heard clearly and beautifully throughout the space.
