Classically trained at Yamaha Music School in Tokyo from the age of 4, I later studied jazz and arrangement, diving into the fusion of tradition and modernity. Whether it's sightreading or improvising from a chart, from corporate galas to dinner parties, theater, weddings, and children's theme parties - I enjoy them all, in addition to being a regular pianist at Pacific Northwest Ballet. Drawing on my background in the healing arts and boasting over 20 years of experience teaching early music and movement programs (certified in Kindermusik and Musikgarten), I am adept at connecting with individuals of all ages and abilities. For educational activities, I can incorporate rhythm sticks, scarves, balls, and other materials into the experience. I can also write tunes for fee if pre-planned.
