Richie Yurkovich & Polkarioty perform at festivals, club events, private parties and almost any other event possible. Their lively music and fun antics on stage make for a fun time for all. They are best know for polka music but are able to play a variety such as country, big band, latin, etc., to keep all dancers happy. The many years of experience and perfoming have taken them to more than 25 states including performances in Europe.
The number of musicians in the group conform to the needs of the event whether it be Richie himself as a one-man-band, a two piece group, the three piece group or the four piece group. The instrumentation of the group includes Richie Yurkovich playing accordion (midi with many different sounds) button box and vocals. His wife Gabrielle is the regular drummer and includes her talents on vocals. Our third band member is determined by the needs of the booking. We have either a banjo/guitar player or a second accordion player who doubles on keyboard and also sings. The fourth band member would include both of the previous two. We also have a sax/clarinet player who performs with us on occasion.
Each band member has over 30 years of performing experience so you know you will be booking a group of musicians that know how to play and perform for your event. Our performances and appearance are always in a professional manner.
