The Asia Society Texas Center in Houston, TX, presents its Fayez Sarofim Grand Hall for private gatherings. This cultural institution was designed by renowned Harvard architect Yoshio Taniguchi and is home to multicultural programs that celebrate both Eastern and Western traditions. The grand hall and gallery offers a wonderful introduction to the center’s harmonious and cultured environment.
The Fayez Sarofim Grand Hall is a two-story space with a capacity of 300 people. This is a lofty, bright space filled with natural light from the full-length windows. Eclectic artworks adorn the walls and the wood and stone features lend a minimalist aesthetic. The ambience fuses elegance and serenity, in keeping with Taniguchi’s vision for the center as a whole.
Fayez Sarofim Grand Hall can be reimagined for sophisticated cocktail parties, refined wedding ceremonies, or corporate functions. Seated banquets for 100 guests can be arranged. An in-house event manager oversees the curation of events and tends to clients’ needs and preferences. Clients can choose from a list of preferred vendors for catering and bar service. Patrons can decorate the space with florals or signage on easels, and all other décor must be pre-approved by the event coordinator. Lighting and sound equipment are available for use at this venue.
