Formento's is an Italian restaurant venue located in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago, IL. Its exclusive event space, The Boardroom, balances a sophisticated and urban atmosphere. At this establishment, charming decor, friendly hospitality, and mouth-watering meals come together to create delightful occasions.
The Boardroom merges elegant decor with industrial elements, featuring exposed brick walls and contemporary light fixtures. A vintage bureau functions as a nostalgic decorative element as well as a beverage serving station. Natural light shines through the tall windows, or they can be draped for a more intimate ambience. With 293 square feet of space, this petite room was designed to complement larger events in The Ballroom or host small gatherings. The room can be decorated to your liking with linens and table arrangements.
The culinary team at Formento’s, led by executive chef Todd Stein, crafts authentic Italian recipes inspired by the owner’s grandmother, Nonna Formento. These classic meals are merged with a contemporary flair, creating a unique menu for private gatherings. Sample dishes include antipasti frittatas, chicken parmigiana, garlic knots, Nonna’s meatballs, seafood towers, and brick chicken. Patrons can enjoy an expansive wine list, featuring more than 600 varietals from around the world.
