Built in 1893 and designed by Henry Ives Cobb, this historic property offers elegance and refinement in abundance. Clients and their guests can admire much of the original architecture during events held here.
Rettinger Hall provides a bright and airy event room for up to 75 guests. The polished marble floor here is illuminated by the many large picture windows within this space which look out upon the surrounding historic neighborhood. Large columns are interspersed throughout this space and draw the viewer’s eye up towards the high ceilings here. Recessed lighting within this room can be adjusted to suit event aesthetics. This space can be set up to facilitate seminars, ceremonies, meetings, banquets, and more. From casual cocktail parties to elegant galas, this space is perfectly suited for all occasions.
The administration at The Newberry is happy to recommend tried and trusted caterers for events held here. Clients are welcome to provide their own alcohol, and the venue can advise on previously used partners upon request. The venue supplies a variety of tables and chairs that can be utilized for on-site events, along with decor items such as votive candles. A range of AV equipment can be made available for an additional charge.
