Located in Los Angeles, CA, The Petersen Museum offers its 3rd floor event space to clients hosting private gatherings. This room is designed to preserve the history of the automobile, and it showcases vintage vehicles across its galleries. Its diverse collection of cars provides a unique backdrop for events ranging from weddings to informal parties.
With 13,000 square feet of available space, the room can accommodate up to 300 guests for cocktail-style events or 100 guests seated. Also known as the History Floor, this space boasts a distinctive aesthetic and tells the stories of different automobiles throughout time. The highlight of the room is the museum’s prized 1920 Ford Model T, although there are several rare cars to be seen here. Featuring a backdrop of a historic streetscape, guests are invited to take photos in the car to take home one-of-a-kind mementos of their experience. Also located within the space is a private bar area.
In addition to the extraordinary setting that the 3rd floor offers, clients are welcome to bring in decor to personalize the room. The venue’s exclusive caterer, Drago Events, provides an exquisite culinary experience for guests attending events held at The Petersen Museum. They specialize in dynamic Italian dishes while employing environmentally friendly practices.
