Dr. Denise Wood, M.A; Psy.D. Motivational Speaker from Saint Paul, MN

Dr. Denise Wood, M.A; Psy.D.(APA accredited program) is a doctor of Clinical Psychology. She has written a published book called "Inside the Cheater's Mind." Where she focuses on Why people cheat and how to prevent future cheating if this is what the couple(straight, gay, transgender etc.)desires. Her next book is called "Inside the Eater's Mind;" where she focuses on mind and body fullness for men and women who desire to better themselves in a cognitive and behavioral manner which enhances their whole well being. In addition, Dr. Wood has written multiple articles on relationship issues as well as multiple articles on psychology based information. She currently owns her own corporation; which is called Wood Counseling Services; LLC. Prior to that she worked as a Psychologist II in the Minnesota Department of Corrections; where she worked at maximum and medium security prisons. She was a psychological profiler for the Minnesota Department of Corrections hostage negotiations team. Dr. Wood is also mediagenic she has proven this by her presence in the September issue of Super Models Unlimited Magazine. In should be noted that Dr. Wood was a 2008 runner up in the Mrs. Minnesota pageant and was called in to be a finalist in one of the longest running reality television shows in America. Dr. Wood also works to prevent Suicide as her brother was a victim of depression and suicide June 2006. As a dedication to her brother she also speaks on suicide awareness for individuals of any age. It should not be overlooked that Dr. Wood lost her father to the leading cause of death coronary heart disease only four years after her brother. She was with him when he passed in a few short hours.
