Aces and Kings is a South Florida rock band. The band was formed by rhythm guitarist Fred King with his son guitarist and vocalist Eric King. The band has been playing its brand of classic and alternative rock and blues covers on stages big and small throughout South Florida ever since . From a musical family, self-taught guitar beginning in 1963, later played in a high school band at local events before taking a family-man break. As a founding member of Aces and Kings, with his son Eric, Fred feels he is re-living a fantasy as a rock and roll band member. Eric King - Lead Guitar and Vocals Eric was born in NY. His love of music began at the age of 4 when he started playing the guitar. He began singing and acting in High School is was formally trained at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). He has been playing guitar and writing original music for over 30 years. He is excited to be a founding member of Aces and Kings Band and looking forward to sharing his passion and some original music. Thank you for the support and following Aces and Kings. We love you all! Geoffrey Short - Lead Vocals http://*******.**********.**********.*** Geoff on Soundcloud Geoff is a singer, songwriter, and music producer. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Geoff has always been immersed in the performing arts and also has extensive theater performance and directing experience. He has appeared on stages alongside such legendary artists as Isaac Hayes, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Leslie Gore, The Turtles, Tommy James and more. Since relocating to South Florida in 2013, Geoff has directed or appeared in many stage productions and has steadily been rocking area venues with Aces and Kings. ? Federico Castro - Bass ?Fede is originally from Lima, Peru. He began playing the guitar at age six then years later discovered his talent for rhythm and decided the bass was a better fit. Fede is an accomplished bassist that has played with various bands in the South Florida area but he's happy to have found the rock he needs to show off his bass swagger. He is now found performing with Aces and Kings (as one of the “aces”). ? ? Max Gegerson - Drums Max G, started playing live music at 10 years old, in Pennsylvania, slapping the skins to the good old local School of Rock anthem, "Seven Nation Army". He continued with a local rock band program in Florida until 15, then began playing with a local female country singer for 3 years where he played at events like the Dan Marino Autism Walk, Tortuga Music Festival, and the State Fair of Texas. His drumming influence is Stewart Copeland of The Police. ?
