MEDUSA-High Energy ALL FEMALE Edgy Rock Band Rock Band from North Olmsted, OH

When a few of Cleveland's most talented female musicians join forces, the result is MEDUSA, a powerful, high energy all female band that rocks the audience. With a flexible line up of four multi-talented seasoned musicians, and two powerhouse lead vocals, this "four, sometimes five" piece project's potential is impressive. The project employs part time vocalist Hannah Crandall, and includes vocalist and guitarist, Shayla Sisco, percussionist Kim Campbell, guitarist Kathy (James) Shadley, and bassist Adriane Bennet. This dynamic group's collective experiences and talents go beyond expectations. Hannah's vocals command the stage like she was born on it. Her performances are intense with hair whipping and vocals that seem to tear the sky open! She currently fronts Cleveland's own "TRUSS". You can find their music which includes 3 albums of originals on spotify. Kim's a powerhouse on drums and is the heartbeat of the group. She has a degree in musical performance, plays and taught clarinet, and currently plays in a second local female band, the Queen Bees. Kathy is no stranger to the guitar. She's the band's shred queen, mixing classic rock swagger with modern edge. She got her start in SWAK (Sealed with a Kiss) an 80's all girl band, aka Cleveland's Sweethearts that played throughout Northeast Ohio. She also studied at the Cleveland Conservatory of music and taught guitar at 2 difference music studios, and she also plays in a second all female band along with Kim, the Queen Bees. Shayla's the youngest, but it doesn't show, she's up there with some of the best guitarists, and has a voice to match. On stage she's pure cool confidence. Her guitar is one with her and she moves with a natural rhythm that is all her own. Her voice is her weapon as she sings with cool confidence in her animated style that is all her own. She's also trained in musical theatre and has a large presence in the Cleveland Jam community. as well as plays in several original projects. Adriane's the steady one, calm, focused, and effortlessly cool, while giving the band their signature heavy groove. She's a long time member of the Cleveland Blues Society and plays in several other bands including "Brave and Crazy" a Melissa Etheridge Tribute Band. Together they are a force to be reckoned with, edgy, high energy, and fueled by raw musicianship. Each member brings a unique presence, but together they create a sound that's explosive, emotional, and unmistakably their own. Medusa pays tribute to an array of artists, male and female, from various decades to present, and playing some of the most iconic tunes of all time. ie: Zeppelin, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, KISS, ZZ Top, Blondie, Joan Jett, The Runaways, Pat Benatar, Heart, Prince, Donna Summer, Maneskin, White Stripes, Fleetwood Mac, Black Sabeth, The Runaways, Tom Petty, Prince, Girlschool, Heart, and many more!
