Second Time Around is a 8 piece, Classic Rock band, inspired by the works of many Classic Rock greats, that strives to perform songs with passion and accuracy. Originally formed in 2005, Second Time Around has incessantly entertained a wide range of audiences playing music of many styles but primarily classic rock from the late 60's and 70's with a total, "live classic rock experience" and "no backing tracks." With three lead vocalists, we are granted the liberty to cover songs that involve tight harmonies as well as powerful solo performances. Some of our favorite selections include "I've Seen All Good People" by Yes, "Desperado" by The Eagles, "Foreplay/Longtime" by Boston, "Hush" by Deep Purple, "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane and "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac. Our drum/percussion, bass, and keyboard players, bring years of experience both instrumentally and as backup vocalists, while our guitar section will amaze you with their skill and authentic solos. Although our emphasis is 70s classic rock, our founding member and acoustic-slide guitar/harmonica player, affords us the opportunity to perform songs adding a unique "Blues" flair to our sound. Having performed at concerts, clubs, festivals, casinos, sporting events, corporate events and private parties with professionalism that comes with experience, Second Time Around realizes the crucial role that live entertainment plays at every type of event and delivers a show that takes you back in time to the age of the "musical revolution."
