We also have an Irish band, Almost Irish, which covers a variety of traditional and popular Irish tunes, with a similarly high level of energy and musical excellence! Almost Irish features 3, 4 or 5-piece configurations (2 guitars, flute, fiddle, percussion & harmonica), and plays favorite hits from The Pogues, The Dubliners, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, Wolfe Tones, Saw Doctors, High Kings, Clancy Brothers, Irish Rovers, Gaelic Storm, Steve Earle, Paddy Reilly, Christy Moore & More. The Racket is an energetic, high-octane band that plays a wide range of rock hits and party classics that everyone knows and loves. We've played literally hundreds of gigs at parties, events, bars and restaurants all around the tri-state area, and we're ready to make your event special with great songs and elite musicianship. We can play full electric (with drummer), or 2-piece or 3-piece acoustic (with bass or percussion), depending on your needs -- acoustic is naturally better for smaller venues or if you are concerned about budget or the loudness of the performance. The Racket has excellent coverage of all rock eras — we crush all the classic bands of the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, and we’ll even hit your favorite 21st-century rockers! We also cover a great selection of the best-known modern and classic country performers, plus some great pop, reggae, blues and Irish hits! We have a massive song list of over 200 songs, and we’ll share it with you so you can choose what you want to hear! Our band consists of a group of elite musicians with over 100 years of combined gigging experience, and we know how to electrify an audience! We don’t just strum — virtuoso guitar & harmonica solos are part of our DNA, and our drummer literally kicks ass! Our song list is massive, so you can choose the songs you want for your party.
