Andy "The Mojoman" Meehan has been performing live music in the Philadelphia area since 1987. An infectious and energetic performer, Mr. Mojo is an accomplished and versatile vocalist, harmonica player and percussionist with a wide ranging musical repertoire. Andy is the front man for the excellent 70's Classic Rock cover band Well Strung (4 piece), as well as for the acoustic Well Strung Duo (Gabe Schick on guitar, vocals, steel drum). Andy also composes and performs patriotic conservative political satire parodies with the RightforBucks Band. The Well Strung Band features 4 super talented and veteran performers that play your favorite music from the 70's "super groups" such as The Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Allman Brothers, Aerosmith, The Doobie Brothers, Bad Company, Van Halen, Stevie Wonder, Black Sabbath and many other great bands. This is a high energy act well suited for people that want to rock, dance, sing along, or all of the above. The Well Strung Duo/Trio plays an eclectic mix of acoustic rock, reggae, island, soul, blues and features Gabe Schick on guitar/vocals/steel drum. The Mojoman plays many different styles and shapes of harmonicas and pumps out the rhythms on the Cajon, a wooden box/drum that you sit on while playing. This is a very organic, authentic and energetic acoustic live performance duo.
