As a wedding planner, I always have to manage my client's last minute needs and requests - my bride and groom decided about a week before their wedding that they wanted to add live music to their ceremony/cocktail hour. I got a quote from Not Even Brothers and they exceeded all of my expectations! Fairly priced, very communicative, and they handled the last minute booking and requests with ease. I look forward to working with them again. Client and guests were raving about the live music! Thank you!!
Not Even Brothers is Guy Workman and Pat Phillips. An internationally recorded songwriter, guitarist and flutist, Guy spent seven years in Nashville where he honed his songwriting skills. He has had four songs in the Billboard charts. Guy also co-wrote an original soundtrack for the BBC documentary "Son of a Gun", the history of Samuel Colt. Over the past fifteen years Guy and Pat have been perfecting and tightening their music by playing venues all across the Southeast. Their driving acoustic guitars, tight harmonies and unusual mix of original and obscure classics has set them apart from other "Top 40" style bands.
They know when to be soft and mellow with acoustic guitar and flute or drive the dance floor with full percussion, lights, rhythm and lead guitars. Their working song list has over 200 cover songs. Chances are they know several of your favorites. They have played living rooms, street dances, cow pastures, large and small concert halls and everything in-between.
With Bose and Yamaha sound systems ranging from small to very large, they can rock you with their full P.A. system and it's two pumping sub-woofers, layback with a small system for mellow background music or play unplugged with just acoustic guitar and flute. Their versatility lets them supply just the right music for any occasion.
