Halloween,2012?.Mid-March review?PHAT CHANTS is disappointed that this client was not happy with us.The guests loved us and all were dancing.We felt, however, that the husband wanted a band that did 1950's type music.We do not do that kind of music.The wife hired us and not him.There were several times when he would ask us to turn down and we did.Then the wife would ask us to turn up.He got his way the years before and she wanted it her way this year.PHAT CHANTS felt like we were stuck between a rock and a hard place.During the hiring process, we were quite honest about what we play.Their guests danced the night away and we did do an encore at the end of the night.

Due to a severe rainstorm -- which we had expected not to be a problem -- we were forced to move the band inside at the last minute. Jim and is band were helpful and flexible about the change in plans and made the difficult situation a non-problem, and adjusting to space much tighter than the planned outdoor deck had no ill effects on their terrific playing and song list.
