Fathers & Sons offer a unique blend of music that spans generations and genres. Incorporating fiddle, lap steel, guitars, bass, and drums Fathers and Sons stamp any tune they perform with their signature southern sound. At any gig they play their objective is to get the crowd off of their feet, smiling, and moving.
Fathers & Sons are a band comprised of two fathers and two sons. Richard & Derek Allman sing and play guitar. Derek adds fiddle and lap steel as well. On occasion Richard also brings in mandolin or banjo to the mix. Allen and David Diffee provide the backbone on drums and bass respectively.
