Nashville Salsa Collective performs salsa classics by artists such as Ray Barretto, Oscar D'León, and Tito Puente, featuring irresistibly danceable rhythms and high-energy solos. When playing outside of the dance club, the band also mixes in Brazilian music and Afro-Cuban jazz. Whether you are passionate about salsa dancing or enjoy sitting back and listening to jazz improvisation, this band can switch seamlessly between the two, all while incorporating memorable Brazilian songs that are rarely heard in the U.S. Nashville Salsa Collective specializes in performing for wedding receptions, quinceañeras, private parties, salsa dances, and special events. The band is available as a full-size salsa band or as a small combo. Our repertoire also includes the music of Sérgio Mendes, Tito Rodriguez, Buena Vista Social Club, Luis Enrique, Maria Rita, Fruko y Sus Tesos, Roberto Fonseca, Roberta Sá, and Michel Camilo, among others.
