The Pa Mambo Orquesta is a new project bringing "heavy metal" salsa dura to your event, guaranteed to keep the dancers on the dancefloor! This band is the creation of trombonist Darnell Scott after participating in salsa bands around the area for over nine years. PA Mambo Orquesta have made it their mission to share the sounds of Salsa Dura bands that could be heard in the streets of New York City and Puerto Rico during the 1970's for the dancing pleasure of the Salsa community. PA Mambo Orquesta are made up of 10 musicians, making them a modern day big band by contemporary standards. They are committed to unearthing and reviving the old school sound, and the kind of salsa that truly makes you want to get up and dance.
