Their “Timba”, Boleros and a traditional Cuban genre called son, which was popular between the 1920s to the 1950s, introducing it to a contemporary audience inspired fusion music is modern “Salsa on Steroids”. And, their “Son” is a style of popular Cuban dance music, originating in the Oriente Province of Cuba. Hence, their name “Timbason”.

The band Timbason la Original was wonderful! They were entertaining, friendly, and professional which kept the party lively. We were complimented by everyone on the music. We would highly recommend this group of five musicians if you want a fun and invigorating party. I can't wait to hear them again!
