Conjunto Imagen Salsa Band from Staten Island, NY

Conjunto Imagen was founded in 1989 by bandleaders Ernie Acevedo and Junior Rivera. Angelo Gonzalez joined as Musical Director in 1990. They have since recorded Twelve productions. Three of those were produced under J & N Records label entitled “Tumba, Tres y Bongo”, “Te Invita a Bailar” and “Mi Rumba”. The next six productions were recorded under the Platano & Universal label entitled “Algo Nuevo”, “Por Amor a Ti”, “Encuentro Especial”, “Imagen 97”, and “Entrando a Milenio” and “Contra la Fuerza”, a Christmas CD, “Xmas with Imagen” (which features Jose Fajardo & Yomo Toro). Conjunto Imagen’s last production “Ayer, Hoy y Mañana” was released under their very own record label Muziq, Inc. Records with the vocal talents of Jesus Serrano and Eddie Rosado. conjunto Imagen in 2008 released "Afinando" with a new Vocal section Eddie Rosado, Johnny Ortiz & Alex Rodriguez Conjunto Imagen participated as the recording group for the following artist’s: Charlie Cruz & Fonzi Cruz, Hector Casanova, Nayobe Concerts & other performances: Gracie Mansion (under the Mayor Gulliani administration), Lincoln Center, World Trade Center Plaza, Windows of the World, The Rainbow Room, Fox Woods, Atlantic City, Zanzibar in Washinton D.C., South Street Sea Port, Action Park, Great Adventures, Orchard Beach, Prospect Park, performed for the Hearst (Hearst Publications Co.) family Additional appearances: River Bank Park, New York City Street Festivals, 116 Street Festival, Puerto Rican Day Parade, Catskills, Ontario Canada, Puerto Rico, Pennsylvania, Boston Ma., Washington D.C., Virginia & Others Club appearances: The Copacabana, Latin Quarters, Broadway II, Palladium, Side Street Nite Club, Tapestry, Chez Sensual, Les Poule, La Maganette, Sweet Waters, Circle Club, Ilusións, Juan Pachanga, 30/30, Elegante, Wild Palm, Jimmy’s Bronx Café, Havana Village, El Flamingo’s, Club Rio, Pastels, Turquoise, Babalu’s, The Country Club, T.J.
