Hello, I call myself a “talking Santa” versus a “Mall Santa”. I ask children more than “What would you like for Christmas?” I like to talk about school, chores, respecting parents. I use the visit as an opportunity to help children understand the responsibilities that may be expected. I ask about school and likes and dislikes. Building a rapport is important. Of course, I pose for pictures. However, I think the candid photos capture the best memories. I believe that the magic of Christmas is for everyone of any age.
