I am an English/Australian Santa with a real beard, who prefers homes and business settings but did enjoy seeing over 1,200 parents and their kids on the annual Coaster train ride from Oceanside to Encinitas.. Must have had over 2 thousand photos taken. A regular event is for my daughters chiropractic office, she specializes in pediatrics. My youngest Christmas child last year was 2 days old!! Lot of fun to see the kids each year as they grow up. I am a member of FORBS, Fraternal Organization of Real Beard Santas, our local club meets once a month and we have all been vetted by FORBS. Every year our club chooses several needy families recovering from breast cancer through Breast Cancer Angels. We purchase and deliver presents to each family member and donate food for the family. Average of $600 per family with funds from our annual chili dinner and other donations throughout the year. Plan this year is for 8-10 families through Breast Cancer Angels, 15+ children. We provide for women and their family who have breast cancer to ensure they have a great Christmas. We will be spending $150.00 per child and $100 for each adult, and try to deliver presents on Christmas day. I have a Santa throne if needed. See picture. I find there are generally two types of Santa visits. A basic visit is usually short and is for photos with the kids (of all ages) Typically $125 to $150 A home visit might include handing out presents and singing carols or story telling. This would usually be 30 to 60 minutes. $175 to $200. My fees are based on $125 for a basic 15 minute visit and approximately $25 for each additional 15 minutes. Possible adjustment for mileage and requirement for the throne. 2020 was a challenge due to the Covid virus, but every family requested no masks. I have the necessary antibodies.
