I am a professionally-trained saxophonist in the Richmond, Virginia area. I have performed Smooth Jazz, Traditional Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, Contemporary Worship, and Pop idioms in RVA and all around the the Washington DC-Baltimore metro corridor for almost two decades, since relocating to the Mid-Atlantic in 2000. In addition to performing in countless private events, I have also performed at the East Coast Jazz Festival and at the Kennedy Center. I have also performed at the "Jazz Nativity" production in RVA and in several churches in the DC metro area that feature world-class music production. If you're working with a modest budget, I can provide classy ambiance for your event by performing by myself along with backing rhythm tracks. In addition, I am well-connected with numerous other fantastic instrumentalists and vocalists, and can line up one of my many skilled pianist associates to form a duet. I strongly recommend this for weddings. For an even fuller live sound, I can configure a trio with piano and upright string bass. If you like the kick of jazz drums, I can also assemble and lead a jazz quartet as well as an entire 19-piece jazz orchestra (big band) with vocalists. My high-quality QSC PA system can expand as needed with multiple, linked 1000-watt powered loudspeakers.
