What makes you different than other Wedding Officiants?

We officiate weddings because its a special thing getting to be a part of something so raw and candid as two people committing to join their lives together and live out their days, regardless of age, partnership, and circumstances. We officiate weddings to get refreshing offset to what we do during the rest of the week, which is really hard engineering jobs. We are super personable and fun with great communication skills, thus making for a super organized stressless ceremony!

How did you get your start as a Wedding Officiant?

Over 25+ years ago I was a junior engineer at a firm and wanted to do something that was creative, fun, and personable. To learn the ways of wedding planning and officiating i volunteered to work for free at wedding planning company in Traverse City, MI. After a few events they said they would rather pay me.... and put me on pay roll. From there I started to officiate weddings, do wedding planning and even did photography services for weddings. I still talk to the owners to this day!
