Anthony Cubbage Singer Guitarist from Troy, NY

Hi there! I'm Anthony Cubbage. I've been a full time musician since 2016. Since then, I've scored multiple award-winning films, released multiple full-length albums, toured the continent about 4 times, garnered millions of streams through my original music project AGE of the BEAR (indie folk), built writing and recording credits with grammy award-winning musicians such as Scott Hoying from Pentatonix, and have taught songwriting lessons to multiple students over the years. I absolutely love being a part of things bigger than myself, hence why I decided to dedicate myself to events over the last decade. I enjoy building an atmosphere where people can enjoy themselves, and also easily hear themselves. When I perform, I think of myself more of a sociologist than a musician, studying the room, making sure people don't need to speak up to have a good conversation or communicate with other staff. I'm also gauging slight energy changes in the room in reaction to the music I play, to decide how to alter the playlist for the event to best fit the crowd. My music can be described as an indie folk base with an occasional pop or jazz twist. I believe live music literally breathes life into events, even if it's at a quiet level, and would love to talk more about how I can help bring life into the ambiance of your event in a relaxed and balanced way. - Anthony
