A Southern California native, Jamesan Zane is a dynamic musician and vocalist with a career spanning decades. Her journey began at age 10, inspired by Madonna's 1987 "Who's That Girl" tour, which ignited her passion for performance and songwriting. While earning a degree in film and television from Chapman University, she spent weekends singing in a classic rock band. After moving to Los Angeles, she formed her own band, Kindred Spirits, whose original music was featured at popular venues like the House of Blues. Jamesan's versatility became her signature as she went on to perform in dozens of party and cover bands throughout Southern California. In 2023, Jamie fully committed to her musical career, launching her solo show, "One Woman No Cry." This show is a curated collection of popular, upbeat singalong tunes she performs with her guitar and sometimes backing tracks. Jamesan's musical style is deeply rooted in rock, drawing influence from iconic female artists like P!nk, Gwen Stefani, and Pat Benatar, as well as folk singers like Taylor Swift and Joni Mitchell. Her impressive vocal range also allows her to masterfully cover male vocalists from legendary acts like Steve Perry, Robert Plant, AC/DC, and Bruno Mars.
