K2theC Music Singer Guitarist from Tampa, FL

[ K 2 THE C ] is the nickname of singer/songwriter K.C., given to her by childhood friends for her affinity for lyrical capabilities and her knack for turning verbose rap songs and heavy metal jams into sweet, soothing acoustic melodies. She has always been inspired by strong rhythmic lyrics from bands such as Fleetwood Mac, Jack Johnson, or Nahko Bear & Medicine for the People, and enchanting melodies from bands such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and The Beatles. Music has been in her heart from a young age, her mother was an avid piano player and would spend hours playing while K.C. sang along, teaching her as she grew. Later, playing with friends around campfires and late night jams ignited a passion to create and share her own music. She has played numerous venues, restaurants, private parties, and festivals, most recently at Orange Blossom Jamboree, Hometeam New Years Rally, and Great Outdoors Jam. Recently she has been busy recording tracks for her debut album, Ab-SOUL-ute, expected to release in late 2019. Through beautiful melodies and poetic words she invites those who hear her melodies to the wondrous beauty of the Universe and their place within it.
