Lauren Sumner Singer Guitarist from Washington, DC

Singer-Guitarist, Solo Performer 23 years old and has been exploring her talents as a singer-songwriter/solo-performer in the DMV area for about 2 years now. She has started her music career by playing acoustic gigs at local venues but has aspirations for more. While she plays an eclectic selection of original songs and popular covers, her passion in music is derived from the Blues. Lauren was born June 1, 1992 and grew up in Germantown, Maryland. She grew up influenced by the same music her mother listened to. Lauren developed a taste for jazz, R&B and blues at a very young age. Now she is influenced by the artists she admires most such as John Mayer, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, etc... She hopes to one day record her own album.
