Michael was amazing. He really made my 5-year-olds birthday party a day to remember. Michael was able to learn some pretty random songs that my son loves, and he nailed it. I would definitely recommend hiring Michael for your live performance needs. He's the man.

Michael performed at my mom’s memorial service. I found him about a week or so before the event. He was so helpful and accommodating. He knew the music we wanted, researched music he didn’t know, was reachable at all times and had a confident, calming, kind presence at the service. And he plays and sings really well, most importantly! I am so happy that he reached out to me right away after I put in the request. I could tell by the way he answered my request on The Bash that he was the right person for the job. I highly recommend Michael to anyone who needs a guitarist and/or singer. Thanks again, Michael!

aving booked and heard Michael Shofi in the past, it was a no brainer in who we wanted to perform at my 40th birthday party.
Michael is an incredibly gifted artist with a kind and happy stage presence as well. He can play ANYTHING, and is happy to do so. We did not give him any parameters for a stage set (which can be a bit difficult not being sure of your audience); but Michael nailed it. He effortlessly wove popular hits, classic rock, and requests.
If you’re lucky enough, Michael may play some of his own stuff, his voice and guitar skills have a beauty and depth that evokes a sense of calm and intimacy that is truly beautiful.
