Susanna Laird is a Maryland-based singer-songwriter, pianist, and guitarist known for her skillful acoustic music and stunningly soulful vocals. "Susanna Laird is a vocalist with power, range and soul. As if that isn’t enough, as a guitarist she can accompany herself better than any secondary musician could. Eric Byrd, Award-Winning Jazz Musician of the Eric Byrd Trio Influenced by artists like Indigo Girls, Tracy Chapman, and Mary Chapin-Carpenter, she writes songs about healing, faith, love, and the beauty found in struggle. Her finger-picking guitar style and honest storytelling have graced stages like The Ladybug Festival, Takoma Park Folk Festival, "In the Streets" festival in Frederick MD, "Eastport A Rockin" festival, the Bedford PA Bluegrass Jamboree and her original song "We're All..." was featured at the Braver Angels National Convention.
